Bailey M Pittenger is a writer, educator, and advocate living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She identifies as part of the disabled community. She has received scholarships and fellowships from Wake Forest University, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Denver, and numerous teaching awards. She graduated with her MA in English from Wake Forest University, her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Notre Dame, and she is currently a PhD candidate in Creative Writing and Literary Arts at the University of Denver. She is the co-founder of pulpmouth magazine, a biannual journal for art and writing of the in-between.
